We live in a threshold moment. The ecosystems that sustain us are unravelling. The societal structures we inhabit are the calcified remnants of unhealed ancestral trauma. In this liminal time, what processes of vesselling culture can create the conditions of initiation that will transform rupture into portal, and collapse into a germination? As we are impacted by the cultural soma, so our own transformation can be medicinal for the coherence of this larger body. How do we hospice the places in ourselves where we have fragmented from our own embodied knowing? What are we being called to grieve in this time? Our witnessing of what is dying now opens a portal through which we can midwife the tender places of emergence within ourselves. This collapse does not have to be an ending, instead it can be a remembering back into relationship, a reconnecting to the initiatory patterns of transformation that flow through our species, a knowledge that is cycle old, seed old, bone old, whisper old, compost old, as old as the ones who are yet to be born. In this workshop, we will explore concepts from cultural somatics, poetic ecology, and soul activism to draw us deeper into our capacity for transformation.
